Rivers of Life, Rivers of Spirit

Rivers of Life, Rivers of Spirit: Finding the Divine Spirit in Creation

What can we do to heal, care for and protect our rivers? This mini-conference brings together church leaders, environmental activists and community practitioners to explore deep incarnation - the idea that divine spirit flows through all creation.

Speakers include Bishop Martin Gainsborough, Paul Powlesland (River Roding Guardian), Al Barrett (Birmingham, Hodge Hill) and John White (Hazelnut Community), and panellists including St James’s Earth Justice team. The conference opens with a riverside blessing of the Thames.

This event is organised as part of the Rivers of Life festival. Find out more on their website.
